American Society, Mental Illness & The Influence of Evil

American Society, Mental Illness & The Influence of Evil

Profits Over the Welfare of the People

For far to long our American culture has willfully placed profits over the welfare of the people in our communities.

The government through programs like "Obama Care" has mde it impossible for helath care systems to make mental health care profitable. Yet the health care systems themselves will not relinquish any of their profits to help the communities with those in need of mental health care.

As God has been systematically removed from society and the family is no longer dominant in culture there is no safety net for the mentally ill.

As we see daily many mentally ill people have access to guns and committ mass shootings.

Yet the Gun Lobby and manufacturers continue to hide behind the second amendment to generate even more profits by the blood of children and others in our communities.

Politicians are afraid and lack moral courage to do what is right and necessary!

Greed and selfish thinking are now dominant in culture.

Will we just continue to accept the easy access to guns by criminals and the mentally ill?

Or will we make it difficult to buy guns for everyone?

What do YOU care about? When your family member gets gunned down by someone will it be OK then?

Pray that the hearts and minds of those in our govenrment and the public will see past the evil that now grips America!!

A Nation Without God Will Die
A Nation Without God Will Die

The Perfect Storm of Evil, Mental Illness & Sin

Lets acknowledge the reality that as a people who have largely rejected God & the Gospel and we have permitted evil and evil entities to return into our midst.

Those who are blind to the spiritual reality around us will not take this seriously. That of course is the environment that evil loves to flourish in. We as a secular nation have blocked out the spiritual and transcendant in life. The material is all most people can relate to.

Evil influences us in many ways through the world around us, through the media and through our minds.

If we sin chronically and reject God we open ourselves up to evil influence.

This will get worse unless we repent as a nation and as individuals.

Return of the Gods - with Special Guest Jonathan Cahn | Part 1

Video from Jewish Voice

"Jonathan Cahn calls it the most explosive revelation he’s ever had. Jonathan Bernis says it’s the most important message Cahn has ever been given. The world has always been full of “gods” people have worshipped, and behind them were spirits. The Gospel pushed them out of western civilization – until western civilization began pushing God out. Learn about what Jonathan Cahn calls “The Dark Trinity,” three ancient spirits that have returned to fill the void left when today’s culture began driving God out in recent decades. Hear shocking correlations between these ancient spirits and what we’re seeing today in America and beyond. “It explains so much,” says Jonathan Bernis. Don’t miss this eye-opening conversation, the first of two." from video introduction

The Tipping Point for Nations: Is the 'Fourth Generation' Upon Us? (pt 1)

On July 31, 1976, the natural and man-made basins and reservoirs above Colorado’s Thompson Canyon reached a critical tipping point. Several unusual rain systems seemed to have snagged on the rugged Rocky Mountain peaks. It was as if the clouds were punctured by the craggy spears of rock and the rains gushed out relentlessly.

Finally, somewhere up there, a tipping point was reached. A “tipping point” occurs when clusters of small events — like repeating cloudbursts — become weighty enough to cause sweeping destruction. So, somewhere in the Estes Park region a critical mass of rainfall had accumulated in a compression, basin, or ravine that had reached its capacity and sent a torrent down the narrow walls of the canyon. The total annual rainfall for the area was reached in seventy minutes as thirty thousand-plus cubic feet of water roared through the Canyon per second.

One-hundred forty people died, including seven young members of a Campus Crusade for Christ team.

One splash was all it took to bring the tons of water to the tipping point.

Ages ago an ancient nation, the Amorites, showed there is a tipping point of judgment. Genesis 15:16 reports that God would not permit Abram to destroy the Amorite nation because the nation’s sins were “not yet full.” However, the Lord told Abram that in the “fourth generation” that tipping point would occur, and God would remove His protective hand from the Amorites.

Are the world’s nations now in this “fourth generation” stage? Have America, China, and all the rest reached a tipping point of judgment in which their sins are “full”?

The removal of God’s protective, steadying hand is also the theme of Romans 1. There, the Apostle Paul, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, writes that, because of people’s rejection of God, His Kingdom values and principles:

He abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip … backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy… (Romans 1:28-31 NLT)

Stormy clusters blow globally now, ranging from coronavirus to potential economic collapses, and mounting natural disasters. Is it possible that this sudden clustering of woes is a sign that our personal and national sins have reached a tipping point, and that God is allowing His judgments to descend upon us?.." from the article: The Tipping Point for Nations: Is the 'Fourth Generation' Upon Us? To Help the Mentally Ill, Help Their Families

"Conservatives have lately wanted public policy to focus on the interests of families. This welcome development has brought important reforms to K–12 public education, among other things, but it has overlooked mental health, where families’ needs are profound. In that policy area, decades ago, families took on a central role as government scaled back asylum-based care for adults with serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. “Community integration” is now the goal of the American mental-health-care establishment. Providers want mentally ill adults to live, as much as possible, the same way other people do — to have a normal life. To reach that goal, someone, or some entity, has to help integrate them into communities, and that task more often than not falls to families. A seriously mentally ill adult without much family support will have a tougher time living anything like a normal life than one who does have such help.

Families bear great burdens under the community-integration regime. That severely troubled man you sometimes pass during your morning commute: Imagine being responsible for him. Imagine having to argue with him day in and day out over taking his meds, about why his attendance at that reputable day program has been dwindling, and whether the CIA is spying on him. The mentally ill have trouble holding down a job and performing basic tasks such as grocery shopping. They have difficulty interpreting social cues, so they may not grasp, for instance, that a person is kidding. Their personal hygiene can leave much to be desired. They can be convinced that celebrities or long-dead historical figures are their personal confidants and that total strangers are passionately in love with them. Though the failings of American mental-health care are often attributed to “stigma” about mental illness, a deficit of shame can be just as great a problem. Were mentally ill people more responsive to what other people thought of them, their lives and those of their family members might run more smoothly.

Conversation, for psychotic people, is often not a two-way street. They mutter and mumble, speak in “word salads,” and are confused about normal social boundaries. A mentally ill adult may fail to grasp his neighbors’ objection to his breaking into their house to try on their clothes and take a bath. Integration into society requires developing tolerance for stress and learning not to spout out obscenities or offensive slurs. In her 1990 book Out of Bedlam, social worker Ann Braden.." from the article: To Help the Mentally Ill, Help Their Families

America Must Repent

4 Things God Will Do When a Nation Turns from Him

"Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or softened with oil. Your country lies desolate; your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence foreigners devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners.” (Isaiah 1:4-7)

Here are 4 things God will do when a nation turns from him..." from the article: 4 Things God Will Do When a Nation Turns from Him
