"Having explained what a soul is in session one, Dallas Willard continues The Soul Series by talking about God in this session and then session three will be about prayer as a way of doing business with God.
God alone is sufficient for the soul. God is absolutely sufficient unto himself and is totally independent of anything else.
Dallas suggests that we can know the sufficiency of God by placing the Lord before us and keeping him there in our mind through practicing spiritual disciplines, waiting on the Lord by trusting and relying upon him to deal with the issues that face us, and through the interaction within our souls and around us that assures us of a new reality in him.
