Gandalf - Courage & God's Providence

25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. - 1 Corinthians 1:25

The foolishness and weakness of which Paul writes is the cross and the proclamation of the cross. The death that Jesus dies alone, betrayed and abandoned is foolishness and weakness that changed and shaped all reality.

Our reality has been shaped by the cross!

In The Lord of the Rings we see that the people and entities of that world know that there is "Providence", a hidden power at work.

The hope of Gandalf of in the "unseen" reflects our blessed reality.

Let the courage and wisdom of Gandalf remind us of our Lord and His sacrifice for us!!
