Video from GotQuestions.org

"Learning how to forgive someone who hurt you is a difficult task. When faced with forgiving someone, or trying to forgive and forget, some ask the question, If I don’t forgive others will God forgive me? In this video, Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch answers the question, “If I do not forgive others, does that mean my sins are not forgiven?”. from video introduction

1 John 1:8 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If you are currently struggling with sin, habitual or otherwise, I pray that God will give you courage to confess. The Gospel frees you to live a Christ-like life through confession and repentance. God has already covered your sin. If you confess your sin, he is faithful and just to forgive you and to purify you.

1 John 1:9 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Confessing your sins daily is the necessary in our relationship with Christ and the Person of the Holy Spirit. Unconfessed sins will hinder our relationship. Pray, confess then repent by changing your behavior. Forgive those that need to be forgiven even if they do not reciprocate.
