Inside the Life of an Artist in a SoHo Loft

"I spent the past few years creating my first photography book titled 'Loft Law. The Last of New York City's Original Artist Lofts' about artists living under the protection of the Loft Law. The photographs explore some of the most unique beautiful, and hidden artist studios across New York City. The book includes writing and personal stories from the incredible group of artists featured in the book. Buy the book in North America: https://www.artbook.com/9788862088152... Grauer's artwork mixes many disciplines and experiments with them: printmaking, painting, collage, sculpting, and cinema as an art form. This developed into mixed-medium, kinetic constructions -- the “Motorized Boxes.” To learn more about Crista Grauer, visit her website: https://www.grauersokoloff.com/ and to contact her: c.grauer44@outlook.com Video Directed by Joshua Charow Cinematography by Luke Piotrowski Edited by Abraham C.
