What it is Like for the Faithful in Nigeria Amid Continued Persecution
Video from EWTN
"Christians continue to face persecution in Nigeria. For the faithful in Nigeria, publicly practicing Christianity can result in attacks, kidnapping and even being killed. Although religious persecution is ongoing, the US took the country off of its list of countries with major religious freedom violations. Editor-in-chief of ACI Africa, Fr. Don Bosco Onyalla, joins to share what it is like for the faithful in Nigeria currently. Earlier this month, Christians in Nigeria's Zamfara state were warned by the Fulani Association to avoid public worship saying they could be attacked or kidnapped. Fr. Don Bosco tells us more about this and whether anything is being done to prevent these attacks. This week a Catholic priest was abducted and the abductors are asking for the equivalent of nearly $50,000 for his safe return. The editor-in-chief of ACI Africa gives us his thoughts on that. A report from the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law found that more than 4,000 Christians were murdered by Nigerian Muslim Jihadists from January to September of this year. Fr. Don Bosco explains what the response has been to this tragedy and how he feels about Nigeria being moved off the US list of countries with major religious freedom concerns." from video

How often do you pray for the persecuted in places like Nigeria and China just to name two?
In our comfortable often shallow lives as Western Christians we easily forget that Christians are dying everyday for their faith.
These videos will give you a glimpse of those who suffer for Christ.
Please pray for them!! - Andy
China's Communist Government Is Reportedly Rewriting the Bible and Calling Jesus a 'Sinner'
Video from CBN News
"The Chinese Communist Party, China's ruling regime, has been on a mission to rewrite the Bible through a communist lens. This quest has reportedly resulted in shocking distortions of scripture and Gospel truth. Todd Nettleton, the spokesman for The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), a persecution watchdog serving Christians across the globe, told Faithwire about the Chinese government's ongoing efforts to reimagine scripture." from video introduction
Most of us have several bibles yet we seldom read them or pick them up. Look at how these brothers and sisters in Christ react to getting bibles. - Andy
Chinese Christians Receiving Bibles For the First Time
Video from International Christian Concern
"The Bible is a living message, which is spiritual fertilizer that brings life wherever it is spread. His Gospel is our only hope. So we spread the Gospel at the frontlines through printed Bibles, Gospel radio broadcasts, and discipleship-oriented materials in areas that are hostile toward Christianity. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Would you join with us in getting words of life and hope to those who need it most?
