In our culture today we have relegated many events in our lives to entertainment and consumption. The reality is in the story of our lives that play out daily God is not only at work but observing. How we honor Him and acknowledge His blessings and care in our lives cycles back into our spiritual growth and well being.
Our lives are short and the first time we do many things reflects our relationship to Christ. Do we consider the first time we make love, or have a child for example just a box to check off with no significance?
The pattern we set with beginnings follows us throughout our lives.
