Former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia John Anderson talks to Jonathan Haidt, Professor of Ethical Leadership at NYU. Jonathan Haidt is the author of the NYT Best Seller, The Righteous Mind. He is an expert in the moral foundations of our political views and he works to help people understand why they and other people hold the views they do. His work seeks to bridge the polarization that bedevils our contemporary politics. He was named a “top 100 global thinker” in 2012 by Foreign Policy magazine, and one of the 65 “World Thinkers of 2013” by Prospect magazine. He is the author of more than 90 academic articles and three books: The Happiness Hypothesis, NYT bestseller The Righteous Mind, and The Coddling of the American Mind.
