The Lamp: What is It?
Proverbs 20:27 (ESV) The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord,
searching all his innermost parts.
This excellent video explains that just as the lamp needs all its parts to produce a flame so do we. Our body is like the wick of the lamp that holds the divine spark, the Breath of God in existence. God allows us through our body, mind and soul to become the divine light people see. Our physical world is the arena in which the Lamp of God can shine its brightest!
