According to data published by the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, there are more than 631 million Christians that currently reside in Africa, accounting for 45 percent of the continent’s population. By the year 2060, six of the top ten countries with the largest Christian populations will be in Africa, according to a Pew Research Center report.
