What Do Language Scientists Really Do? - Linguistics with Andrew Nevins (Part 1)

Language: The Gift of God’s Presence By Dawn Kruger

"Language is a gift from a good and gracious God; a gift that offers humanity the ability to enter into relationships on all levels: with God himself, with one another, and with nature. From the time God walked with Adam and Eve in the sanctuary of Eden, his desire was to enjoy fellowship with his creation, to be known by them and to abide with them in intimate companionship. From the early verses in Genesis to the last verses in Revelation, God proclaims his desire to abide or tabernacle with his people. Abiding is expressed in language. Language is one way through which God reveals himself to us in a form that allows for us, the created, to be known and to know him, the transcendent Creator. The gift of language is not just God giving us words that make sense; it is God giving himself through The Word. God inhabits the tabernacle of language and meets us there. Language, then, is a gift from the missional heart of a loving God who wants to be known..." from the article: Language: The Gift of God’s Presence
